b18a1 vs b18b1

Alright so what is the difference between the two. I thought the internals were a lilttle better in the b. My friend is telling me that there are difference in the block that make the b better. Can someone enlighten us?

The blocks are the same the main difference in the two are:

intake manifold
electronic system
Cams
exhuast manifold

tehy both run same comp. ratio, bore/stroke etc... so those are the only for things different. nothing inside is different...

IM + Cams are noticeably different.
The B18A is tuned marginally better from the factory, but has cams that are much shittier up top (5000+).
The B18B is DE-tuned more from the factory, but has noticeably better cams up top.
