B18A1 year IDs

    I am putting a B18A1 into a 89 Civic DX and I want to know how can I tell what year the B18A1 is or if it is OBD0 or OBD1. Any help would be great.

    see if the dizzy connections are obd0 or obd1 type. if you dont know the difference this will help

    My plug from the engine harness is like the top in the pic but mine isnt a short pigtail like pictured why is that?

    Those are jumper plugs. He was illustrating what the OBD0 and OBD1 plugs look like.
