I have a b18b longblock out of a 94 integra. it is obd1 and i need obd2 for my swap. So if i put an obd2 distributer, injectors, and alternator on it, will i be good to go? thanks for the help
you dont need to change them... obd1/2 electronics are the same.. they just use different plugs. either swap the plugs from the harness that goes into the electronic, or do like you said and swap the parts. be careful with obd2a and obd2b though. they are different too
The OBD1 and OBD2 distributors are different (nothing a rewire can't fix). However, the OBD2 ECU will be looking for a crank speed fluctuation sensor which on the OBD2 engine is located at the crank pulley under the timing cover. The OBD1 engine lacks this sensor.
