B18b into 99 CX Hatch

I finally decided...I'm doing the b18b swap in my 99 civic cx hatchback. I've heard that the motor is OBD2a from some and OBD2b from others. I think my car is OBD2b (please clarify if I'm wrong). What would a b18b from a 99-00 integra's OBD be? Let me know what would be the best b18b to go with, I pretty much want to just drop it in no wiring issues (except for wire lengthening). Thanks.

Since you will be re-using the civic's harness you should only have to worry about the ECU, the wiring will plug in just fine to the engine no matter if it's obd2a or b
Ask in the ecuelectronics forum as to what obd your car is, I can't remember if they changed it in 99 or 01

Thanks, so OBD2a and OBD2b does not matter with this swap, because they are compatible. Plug and Play?

The engine is plug and play, I am not 100% on the computer

Will the axles need to be replaced or are they a direct fit for the civic?

you'll need integra axles.. but 99-01 is obd2b and i'm pretty sure the plugs on the ecu are different..
