b18c into 89-91 civic

okay, so i'm being offered a b18c (from a gsr) for 3500. and i want to swap it into my 90 civic cx hatch.

i was wondering if anyone knows the relative cost for JUST the swap?

GSR probly 3000-4000$$$$ at my local shop

yea its going to cost you an arm and a leg if you aren't physically swapping it in yourself. a lot of places wont touch swaps like that because of all the little things you need to make it work.

like for a shop to do?? wayyy too much money...shops around here wont even do brake jobs on a honda let alone engine swaps lol

If you can find a shop to do the labor, it will probably cost you between $1500-$2000.

A guy I know charges $1000 to drop the motor in and wire it up, but he supplies no parts. You bring everything you need to him, and he makes it work.
