I am really close to buying a motor now. I am thinking the SiR-G or regular GSR. Actually, I am sure of it. I just read an article in the "swap article" section, and I saw that VTec needs to be rewired?? This leaves me clueless. This a hard thing to do? Also, says that the motor will bolt right in? Is this true? I thought I needed to get some conversion mounts. What about this whole OBD2a and OBD2b deal. What is up with that? Do I need to rewire everything with the engine harness that comes with the motor and can i use the one thats there already? The exhaust is kinda worrying me too along with the throttle cable. Are these going to need modifying to make them fit? I saw something about a Type R throttle cable needed? Anyone know anything about this? Let me know. Oh, I have a 99 civic coupe
