what could be the problem? i just swaped the b20 in my 90 teg and as soon as you start it up the idle is like 200 and moves up to 300 and back down agian over and over agian very very low idle! could a vacume leak be the resault of this? please help!

When you touch the brake or clutch does it change any?

If so you might want to check the brake master cylinder and booster. Might not sound like the prob but just check the cylinder for leaks. If it leaks replace it if its not the cylinder leaking change the booster.
Trust me it has a lot to do with the vaccuum lines.

yeah i does not change anything but i did notice the pcv valve was missing could the be the problem?

Maybe, I had a jeep that that would shoot out of. Everytime I put it back in it seemed to run a little better until it shot out again. But thats on a jeep not a honda. BTW just to brush up that stands for positive crankcase vacuum, right?
