b20 vtec piston and valve clearance

i have bought a complete b20 b block
and a complete b16a2 head
and i have a B16 Intake manifold and b16 cams
i want to take it to a machine shop and get the valve to piston clearance checked because i want to put atage 2 cams in
so what do i do?
like do i have to get the header attached to the block and then take it to a machine shop
or just take them both non attached???????
snf do i bring the stage 2 cams
or is it fine to brign the b16 cams
??????

bring them the block with the pistons installed, bring them the head with the cams installed, but keep the block and head seperate, they will do the rest.
you don't need the manifolds

should the b16 cams be installed or the stage 2 cams be installed???

install your "stage 2" cams
