b20/vtec turbo

    just need to no what a b20 block and crank can handle stock, how much boost??.

    well going to run t4-t5 turbo around 17 psi for track and 10 on the street just want to see if the crank and block can handle that much boost, i alread have most everthing i need, but dont want to have to do this build twice if the crank or block cant handle it. thanks

    Since there's no answer to your question, here are some guidelines:

    B20 stock crank can handle 500+ wheel horsepower
    B20 stock sleeve can handle up to around 350 whp
    B20 stock pistons aren't that great
    B20 stock rods can hold the same amount of power as stock B18B, which would probably put you around 300 whp

    All this assumes a competent engine builder and quality tuning. Screw up on the build and you go boom WAY before you hit power levels anywhere near this.

    hey, good anwser trhat is what we need administrator that know WTF they are talking about and most of them here either know their shit or search it out for us this is why anytime you vote dont forget the hondaswap.com is the site to check out the best site for honda tuners..........and by the way does anyone know if ITR pistons will fit a b20b block and what good rods will also fit the b20b block thanks guys

    ITR pistons will NOT fit in a B20B... the bore size is different. If you want to change pistons, you MUST go aftermarket on the B20B/Z. For rods, you can use anything that an LS engine can use.
