B20-vtec

i have a nicely built b16 head which block would it be easier to put it on? What do i have to do to put it on a b20b..? Thanks in advance.

Same difficulty with both blocks... and if you're changing pistons, it won't matter. Look in our FAQ section for how-tos.

Honda tuning lists the B20Z as having 10.2:1 compression which is the same as a B16A is this correct or did they mess up.

Honda.com lists the 99-00 CR-V (B20Z) at 9.6:1. Go look for yourself!

B20B was 8.8:1 I believe and the B20Z is higher... 9.6:1 sounds bout right.

if u go b20 go with the b20z not the b20b it has beet comp and a bit more alot more power in the end after ur cr-vtec is done, i made both of my cr-vtec
and my ls-v using the c-speedracing.com instrucions and both of my motors still run strong one with 15k and the other with 5k
