I need help figuring out what's making that grinding noise in the distributor of a 1st gen b16 sir ....if so , is there a replacement part for it. HOpefully somebody out there can help me with this headache...........
The same thing happened to my distributer when i first did my swap the distributer shaft bearing went and thats what made the noise. I got a remanufactured dizzy from the place i bought my motor for 20 dollars. You have some options, you can take it apart and replace the bearing or buy a new one. I bought a new one because my old dizzy was basically shot.
can i use a 90-91 ls distributor u know? cuz i know getting hold of a jdm distributor is a bit pain in the shiznit!!........ir can i swap the parts from the 90-90 ls and put it in the og one.....? please lemme know.....cuz i'm about to do it right now......
