bad strut...

ok, I have a 2001 GSR and I have it lowered not all the way but I think good 2.5' all around on SPW adjustable coils, ok I woke up today and I saw a leak from my left rear wheel, I looked up it was my Strut, I don't know were this thing is from but any ideas why this sh!t happen, and should I buy a stock strut or what kind of struts would you put,

and also my friend has a LS to part it out, so are the GSR and LS suspencion's the same,

if you are lowering your car you need struts that can handle the new ride height .... lowering on stock struts will ALWAYS result in blown struts

and going too low even on aftermarket will also result in blown struts. High spring rates will do it too. save your $$$ and get a good set, or get used to changing them often.
