ok my friend is going to be rebuilding his b18b..i cant remember how to size the bearings for the rods and the crank...can anyone point me in the right direction on sizing and all that

If its matching rods/crank, I have been told that there are codes for the correct bearing engraved on rods...not sure about the crank journals. Thats what I would do and plasti-gauge it. Are there any color on the old bearings? That might work too.

best way to do it is to use a micrometer on it and get measurements, but there is a code on the block and on the crank. there is a lot on info on it. just google it. also many people will just by acl, king or clevite bearings and plastigage them

I used ACL which are basically a "green" size.
