For automatic transmissions, its an upgraded torque converter. Allows for better launching, they have the left foot on brake while in drive and mash throttle, then they just let go of the brake to launch. The stall is where the RPMs are when in full throttle with the brake down.

umm no. nice try though.

stall is the rpm where the TC is FULLY engaged.
it doesn't work like a clutch. it allows slippage to run smooth, and also to hold power without baking tires... kinda like dumping the clutch vs feathering it. most cars fully grip oem at like 2k

1. Skyline on dyno - so much heat exhaust manif. turns white
2. Supra on dyno - 874hp / 796lb/ft
3. 2 Supras(both with new turbos) vs CBR900RR w/ k&n, jet kit, exhaust (cbr gets smoked, 1 supra smokes through 5 gears)
4. Corvette vs. Lambro Mercialego
5. Lexus SC300TT SMOKES, 2 11sec RX-7s and a Viper Venom 500

No the SC300TT is behind the two cars as another one flies up and passes them all, he doesn't smoke anyone...he just passes them.

you don't know that for sure. They coulda just had loud "farty" mufflers and were running at 5000 rpm at 70 mph. There's no way a car pulled on 11 second RX7s that quickly.
