Better Swap????

Im a little confused on what motor should I put in my eg6. I want a motor to be strong and that isn't too expensive. I plan on boosting a motor with safe tuning I heard B18b (ls) motors are really nice for boosting. Is it a waste to boost a vtec motor and just get the LS????? Are ya gonna have more fun with vtec boost or Ls boost????? I want a car that is quick and fast. What are your guy's suggestions????

ls has a little more torque, but the turbo will make up for that and vtec is just fun.

I swapped an LS into my EK, and I couldnt be happier. I got a different tranny though, really short gears. Either way the torque is definetely nice, and I dont really mind the absence of VTEC. Plus, you can always put a VTEC head onto the LS if you decide you really want it. For boost I'd go with the LS, simply because of the low compression.

you can boost a b16 up to 350hp on stock internals.. VTEC FTW!!

get a b16a, have fun with that. buy a cheap ls block and build it for boost. install when ready and beef the head a lil. be pushin 400+
