you can just TELL. but there are ways around it, especially with the 1-4. everything needed to make one of those "imports" legal is cosmetic and extremely cheap/easy to come buy.

it doesnt have any of the cool accents of the evo dash, and that is a dead giveaway.

the only LHD evo's were in the UK i believe. i could be wrong.

the trunkspace is also a giveaway.
