Big Brake Upgrade

depends on how much you want to spend, what exactly do you want to upgrade, ect.

Wilwood and Fastbrakes both make a real nice kit. The problem with these are for areas with a large amount of salt, they require a little bit of upkeep because they do not have dust boots. Also, for the street, they are pretty much overkill.

Great basic OEM brake upgrade would be to do a rear disc brake conversion, put integra brakes on the front, put a GSR brake booster and master cylinder on there, put some dot 4 fluid in there (ATE Superblue), buy some good pads, and most importantly, buy some good tires. This setup is a great setup for the street and autocrosser. It is even enough for light roadcourse racers.

I say save money and get a GSR conversion, it is more than enough to stop a Civic hatch, and with good pads, you'll stop on a dime.
