I think that's a mistake on their website. That product shouldn't be listed under the Accord section. Read the description. That kit is for putting a VTEC head on to a non-VTEC B-series block...

Get rid of the f22, and drop in any seris motor. b16, b18c. The kit is designed to add a b16, b18 head to a b18 or b20 block that has a head that doesnt have vtec. It it s speacial head gasket for the coolant and oil paths, as well as an oil filter adapter to add oil presure to your new vtec head. Including the tools to do the head work. You should read up on ls/vtec conversions to get a better understanding of the finer details of the swap.

In your case, I would suggest dropping in a GSR motor. You can stay with a OBD1 motor because of the year of your car. That will get a ton of power for your application.

He has a 90 accord... don't u think a h22 swap would be more realistic

If thats the case, might as well make it a K24. I was thinking more abundent engines, and cheapers parts. but yeah, you could also use an h22.

Yeah, B-series doesn't really work in any of 90+ Accords. Not enough torque, plus the fact that you'd need custom mounts just makes it not worthwhile...

Well, I gues you learn something everyday. today I learned no B-series in Accords. Drop in a h22, and call it done.

Yeah, I mean I'm sure you could fab up some mounts and make it work, but I just don't see much point when even the best B-series engine has less torque then the stock F22 and you've got a 200 horse dual cam option in the H22 that's a direct bolt-in swap...

i cant argue with h22 swaps, like i say all the time, i did an h22 swap on my 91 accord and she runs fucking great, or the other option if your stock motor has low miles (which i doubt) and is in good condition is turbo the beotch, and no offense about me doubting about low miles, but what are the odds finding an accord with low miles any more hahaha
