boring ls block question

    ok i got a b18b1 block i am buildign for ls vtec wats the most ican bore it out since its stock bore is 81mm and wat type of pistons and compression should i run for a all motor and sumtimes nos set up since the b16 head will raise the compression???

    I dont like to go any more than .20 over or .5 mm for the metric conversion. I would keep the compression reasonable, especially if you want to run nitrous. If it is going to be driven on the street alot I would recommend 10.5/1 or slightly less. Here is a link for some pistons I used in my friends ls/vtec all motor with a little spray.     I bought part #71262. I would definetly get some aftermarket rods also. I like eagles because they are inexpensive and can handle alot of abuse.
