BORLA MUFFLER/high flow cat?

HEY guys i have a borla xr1 3" muffler with a full 3 inch system from header back, with a 14" /3" inlet resonator and a regular size 4-2-1 stainless headers, its on a b18b integra which will be soon a built h22a turbo, if your wondering why 3", i have 2 problem at 2700 rpm and only then it will have a raspy pitch for about 2 seconds, which between first and second is enough to drive me crazy, because "iam that guy right now". next problem is at high way cruising speeds it get extreamly, unbarelably loud, question, what do you guys think i need to get rid of the raspy and loudness, a good high flow cat, test pipe, or really good resonator, or a combo, let me know what you guys think, send me some brand names also, by the way, this muffler has a sick low growl before and after 2700 rpm, not ricey at all..

A resonated cat or test pipe would probably help a bit. What does the muffler look like? Is it the round canister style or is it more of the traditional oval shape? That makes a difference as well...

i'm guessing the raspyness is coming from the 3" piping.. too big for what you have right now.. either take it as it is until you boost or buy a new exhaust

if you add a3" straight magnaflow muffler the raspiness will go away

well its a traditional oval type, and also how will that magnaflow muffler added on will affect my flow, would a high flow cat work better,i know it mostly has to do with 3" piping but there must be away to get it right, there alot of product out there i just want to hear what other have done with same problem...
