    Hello all,

I have just bought my first honda car as my ancient bmw's subframe died recently,
its a 96 accord 1.8i LX with just under 80k on the clock, and im hoping to go pick it up this evening.
Having previously owned a few honda motorbikes including CB125, VF400, NC30 and CBR600 im no stranger to honda engines

i got the accord cheap because of a few faults, one of which is the power steering, according to the previous owner, when the car is cold the steering makes a noise when going from lock to lock and can feel a little bumpy

does anybody have any idea what the fault might be  ?

i dont know if it has the speed sensetive steering, but i dont think so, is replacing the steering rack an easy job ?

it probably needs a new radiator too so ill more than likely bung a new one in, is this an easy job ?

Thanks in advance for any useful info.......

That, I've never had to mess w/, so I don't know. It can't be that hard, though. My advice to anyone & everyone w/ repair questions is: Go buy the Chilton/Haynes manual for your car.

Oh yes. This I know about, and it's hella easy. I think there's a total of maybe four bolts to remove, and they are all right in the front easy to get to. MAKE SURE that you DRAIN her first though....

He might be outside of the US/Canada. There are lots of other Honda models out there with different engines in them.
