rather recently i noticed that when I just turn my car on the RPMs are bouncing between 1k and 300. The car isnt choking out, but it acts like it wants to. I figured it would be because of the cold weather, so I just upped the idle speed a little. It seemed to solve the problem for a few days, but its back at it again. Im just wondering if this is something that should bother me or not. and what to do about it if it is.

It could be a number of things, heres a list of possible causes and tests you can do https://hondaswap.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=29790, there is also a chance it could be the FITV (Fast Idle Thermo Valve) if your car has one. Low coolant level can also cause a hi/low idle. Do a few tests and get back to us.

Well there are no codes, so im guessing that throws a few possiblilities out. And the coolant level is fine. Ill check the list and get back to ya.
