Ok, just got a new set of pads, about to put them on... after a lot of research, I've found a thousand or so different oppinions on breaking them in. What is a proper way to do it?

Drive them around, using the brakes very lightly at first. Drive for about ten minutes, and drive up to around 50 or so, then lightly depress the pedal just enough to slow the car down, and slow to around 5 mph. Then speed back up to 50, then do it again. After 10 or so minutes, this will make your pads hot. Now, accelerate to around 50-60, and brake hard. DO NOT LOCK UP YOUR BRAKES. Again, at 5mph, stop braking. Drive for a minute or so without using your brakes. Again, hard pressure at around 60 mph. Do it again at 65. Now park it, and let it sit for a few hours. While going home, at stoplights, do not touch the brakes, or any other times your stopped. When you get home, either put something behind a tire, or leave it in gear (if your on a hill, that will not be enough) do not use your ebrake. Since your nature of driving, its best to do this on either extermly desolate country roads or late at night when no one is on the road.
