i am using arias pistons with a 3.205" inch bore and a head cc of 41.6

when i calculated my head gasket thickness to achieve clearance it came out to .3146.

i had planned on using a multi-layer cometic head gasket, but they come in .30.

so, do i need to special order a head gasket witha thickness of .314? or, can i just order one that is .32 and have a little extra clearance?

does anyone have any suggestions on a head gasket brand? i just have heard good things about cometic and had decided to go with them..

thanks

also, when rebuilding what is a quality company that makes a full gasket kit for a b18c1?

Cometic is a great gasket maker- just ask them for a custom thickness gasket and they can make whatever you want, even up to .5 if you really need it.

.029 inches... I think he was calling out measurements in millimeters.
