can a h22 fit into a 89 crx

I was wondering can a h22 fit into a 89 crx without banging the bay or anything esle or would it just be easier and cost less to grab a b16A. Thanks

uhm last time i checked you had to bang the bay to fit a b series motor in the crx's as well...

look at the instructions for the mount kit..

Yes, yes they do have to bang the bay to fit a b series motor in a crx that is true. Banging the bay to fit a h22 in a crx is a understatment. Get out the sawz-all and get choppin if you want a h22. not only that but think of how much weight that will add to your front end. you might have to upgrade your susp!

yes you can. but it would be smarter to just go B20Vtec.
