in the last 3 months I have bought about 4 or 5 pairs of jeans. now i had a sudden drop in weight from working out a lot and they are all too big around the waist. i need to take of about an inch. can a tailor do that with jeans?

Is a belt not an option here?

i never go without a belt, but i moved up almost 3 notches in the last 4 months.

Which i should add, it's time for a new belt to.

Nice, I probably went down 4 notches. Don't really know though, out of my 6 belts only one actually has notches. Working on that though.

to answer your questions .. yes they can tailor the waist.. my GF bought some jeans that were too big because they were a good deal  .. typical girl.. so she had them altered, all around

You can get them altered easily for jeans.

Umm you're a washingtonian.... Buy your jeans at Nordstrom's. Free alterations FTW. All my Mavi's, and Luckys come from there.

I wear a skater belt that doesn't have notches, so I never feel fat =P I don't know about your question, for I am a dumb, poor redneck... Speaking of which, I need new jeans bad. My only work safe pair is developing a hole in the crotch.

Only go to Nordy's on the men's half yearly sale, and get the same shit at macy's for a tad cheaper.

But macy's has the good prices on like quik and other stuff, but not the high end stuff like Seven jean's and Michael Kors, etc.

My favorite jeans are CCS and Tony Hawks. So ridiculously comfortable.

Maybe I'll have to try those Tony Hawks. ALL my jeans come from Miller's Outpost, I like'em a lot.

you should look into Matix jeans (the Grippers to be exact, Miners are also pretty comfy) if you think those are comfortable.. thats all i wear other than Levis pretty much..

the Gripper is more fitting jean and the Miner is a looser fit.. but both very comfortable, its all i'll buy..

Although I see your question as been answered, I feel the need to add my lil 2 cents since I've been MIA for a few days, yes you can get them tailored

I found them by accident in Kohls. I was looking for polo shirts and saw them. After feeling them I had to try them on. I have 4 pairs now.
