car wont start after it warms up???

for some reason if i shut my car off after it reaches normal operating temp and try to start it again it wont start but if i wait about ten min. and try it again it starts no prob. what could be causeing this

i'd put money on the main relay.

it tends to do it more when the car interior is hot, right?

its a 91 civic dx and im totally lost with this on cant figure out what direction to look in haha
