I WROTE A THREAD BEFORE ON "IS IT POSSIBLE TO SWAP A JDM B18A CARBED ENGINE.TRANS AND ECU FROM A 2G PRELUDE OR A 3G ACCORD INTO A 84 HF CRX UTILIZING MOTOR MOUNTS SUPPLIED FROM HASPORT?"

I FOUND OUT THAT THAT WAS PRETTY IMPOSSIBLE TO DO THAT SINCE THE MOTOR DOES NOT MOUNT IN THE SAME PLACE AS OTHER B SERIES ENGINES(B16. B17 ETC.) LIKE FROM THE 90 AND UP TEGS OR SUCH.

THE WORST PART IS THAT THE PARTS ARE NOT EVEN INTERCHANGABLE SO IF I COULD SOME HOW PUT IT IN THEN IF ANY THING BROKE I CAN NOT FIX IT SO IT KIND OF CRUSHED MY DREAMS.

HOWEVER MY DREAMS WERE ONCE AGAIN RESUERECTED BY A WEBSITE AND A PREMINITION.

WHAT IF I GRAB A SEPARATE BLOCK AND A CABLE TRANNY LETS SAY A 90 LS INTEGRA AND JUSST SWAP ON A CARB HEAD?

I KNOW THE PART WILL NOT SIMPLY BOLT ON BECAUSE ITS NOT INTECHANGABLE BUT I LOGGED ON TO WWW.LUDESPEED.COM AND WWW.EZBOARD@BHONDADSERIES.COM AND SAW TWO THINGS THAT CAUGHT MY EYE LUDESPEED SUCCESFULLY SWAPPED DOHC V-TEC HEADS ONTO 88-91 PRELUDES, HELL SUPPOSEDLY IMPOSSSIBLE SWAPS POSSIBLE AND BHONDADSERIES THERE WAS A GUY WHO SWAPPED A D16A1 HEAD ON A 92 AND UP CIVIC BLOCK!

SO I SAID HELL I AM GOING TO GO THIS I HAVE ONLY 4 QUESTIONS TO ASK AND HOPE EVERYONE CAN ANSWER THEM OR JUST ONE OF THEM.

1) WHO HERE IS CAPABLE OF HEAD SWAPS AND MACHINING LIKE WHAT I AM DESCRIBING?
2)OR WHO HERE KNOWS OF A GOOD AND REPUTIBLE PLACE WHERE I CAN GET IT MACHINED AND SWAP?
3)WHO HERE HAS A GOOD JDM CONNECTION THAT COULD POSSIBLY GET ME A HEAD?
4)OR WHO HERE KNOWS OF A PLACE WHERE I CAN GET JDM ENGINE AND PARTS?

What's the point of all that? Can't you just run a carb setup on a B18 or a D series. No need to do all that imposiblr head swapping. BTW the guy who did the VTEC head on thelude B20's quit cause it didn't work very well and cost too much.
