Is it possible to create a carbon fiber fender your self?

Like purchase some carbon fiber sheets, epoxy and any sort of other tools & materials you would need to produce a part. Maybe foam to make a shape to lay the fiber in to epoxy and cure it?

Has anyone ever tried this, or are there even tutorials on how to do it? Or is it just more work than its worth.

    Thanks,
    Scott

it will cost about 500 to do it your self is it worth it to yo0u no.
You need to build a mold, spray a gelcoat, lay fiber, vacume bag, sand and reclear.
if you are still intersted and have all the tools then i will give you a walk through

Wow, thanks, I will surely look into it. I have been thinking of it over the past few days and I'm now actually thinking of buying a setup of some sort. (Maybe I'll change my mind after I learn a bit more about it) :p

    Thanks,
    Scott
