Cat-back

When i purchase a cat-back, do i buy it for the type of engine (swapped engine), or do i buy it by the car's trim?
Also, does cat-back mean catalyctic converter?

cat not included, buy it for the year car and just connect your header to your cat and to the "catback" exhaust. If there is a gap then get sometype of a flex pipe made, and if you have obd1 just get a test pipe from your collector to the "catback" exhaust.
