Hi, my local dealer is telling me I need to have the engin stripped because a fault p0341 keeps comming up yet all my research infers that this is a vetec fault, Any ideas?
 
well im not sure what car you have but no engine code would tell you that the motor has to be stripped down , tell me what make model and year car you have and ill find out what ecu code you have been giving. All the ecu does is control sensors and manage the air fuel to run the car. what ecu do you have ? Now if a honda motor has to be stripped down , well if you have an accord with the f series motor , you either code a bad bottom end and you dont get a code for a spun bearing or broken piston . Or even a bent valve or a blown headgasket, so someone is messing with you !!!
 
Sorry to add to my comment, they are saying its worn cam chain or tensioners....
