Im swapping in a 98 ls motor and there is no place to hook the hoses that come from the charcol canister.... I know i could porbally get a older ls throttle body maybe but i would really like to stick with the one that is ont he motor now..

How bad is removing the charcol canister? Is it wise?

won't hurt anything to remove charcoal cannister, however, if you live somewhere that requires emission testing, it may not pass the visual inspection without the cannister
