check engine light help and location

hey guys my check engine light went on after 6 years of having this car now my question is I know the cable is under the carpet but i cant find it if anyone can help?? and also is this a problem with all the 89 civics??

My Check Engine Lights come on when my fuel injectors are dirty. So i just got fuel injector cleaner and it usually cleans in one tank.
