Chek Engine Light Problem

I replaced the o2 sensor on my car today because i was getting a code 1 which means bad o2 sensor and i reset the ecu afterwards. after doing this i still get a code 1 does anyone know wha could be causing this problem? unrelated I removed the ac after all this just to lighten it up a bit 40 lbs lighter is pretty nice.

are you sure its wired properly? are you sure the o2 is good?
is your car running like utter ass, and makeing the 02 throw a code cuz it can't read it?

i bought a brandnew one from www.oxygensensors.com it plugged right in was not one that i had to splice the wires its running a bit slower but not really much of a difference
