chipped pr3 ecu and knock sensor?

can anbody pls tell me if i still need to run a knock sensor in the pr3 chipped ecu in ls/vtec setup pls someone help....i know in p28 if u get that chipped u don't need to run the knock sensor

The knock sensor is a safeguard. You can run without it, at your own risk. I'm doing away with mine, because it's been a pain. Always run good gas, and keep your car tuned, you shouldn't have a problem.

But again, this is your risk, not ours.

depends on what chipped program your running. The mugen can run without it, but if you have a ecu that ask for it. It will throw I think a code 7 for knock. (Not sure if thats obd number 0 code for ks.)
