cleaning my engine bay

ok this might sound stupid but im going to be puting a motor into my crx this weekend but my goal is to have a really clean car. what could i do to clean up my engine bay? im going to replace all the vacuum lines with new hoses and degrese everything. i just want some opinions on what to do. thanks

the best thing you could do, but a huge pain in the ass, is to remove everything and repaint the bay...

the next best thing would be to get it all cleaned up and then reclear the bay to get it back to the original shine...

the last choice would be just to clean it using degreaser or simple green...

not really advising this but if you're really lazy you can clear over everything thats in the bay with the motor out... it'll all shine

ha ha yeah i want it to be clean now but in a few weeks wont give two shits. but i got a really clean car now. it is almost as nice as denis(i think.. from auto x) ill try that simple green.
