clutch pedal doesnt come up all the way

ok.. so about a month ago the clutch pedal in the teg started have about an inch of play back and forth causing the pedal to not come up all the way.. recently i've replaced the master cylinder but i'm thinking the slave cylinder is on its way out .. the woman said she was having trouble shifting out of gear the other day too.. thoughts?

Did you check the fluid in the reservoir?

its full.. i know the tranny is long overdue for a fluid change.. though thats not the deal w/ the clutch pedal.. i'll be doing that next month.. clutch is fine, grabs good

probably needs a bleed.

when i changed the master cylinder we bled the shit out of it.. i suppose it wont hurt though, brake fluid is cheap

Use a vibrator to bleed it. Put the vibrator on the MC for a while and then on the slave cylinder, then pump and bleed.

Slave cylinder might be going, what did the seals of the MC look like when you replaced it?
