code 16 and 17

almost done with my dohc zc i just need to know what do i do with code 17, thats vehicle speed sensor ??? i think code 16 is fuel injector right???? thanks for the help

is your speedo cable plugged in? in the ef's the gauge cluster sends a signal to the ecu to tell it that its moving. if your cables not plugged in then no speedo which means no signal is getting to the ecu.

check and make sure that your injectors are plugged up. was this a mpfi conversion as well?

yea it is i was thinking it was the wiring but the injector plugs is loose i think it might be the clip to the speedo transmission im missing that one

periods, use periods. run on sentences are hard to decipher.

but get the clip. fix your injectors and make sure that they are firing correctly. take it to a shop and they should have a diagnostic tool that they use to probe the wires and it shows if it firing correctly, its called a noid or something like that )(cant remember) that will tell you alot.
