Code 20 (ELD) Problem

Good luck on your gig tonite, I played a show on Deep Ellum in Dallas last nite and it sucked, I had ZERO monitors for the entire show after the first 30 seconds or so of the first song.


As far as your problem, it's a ground, and I say that with about 99.9999% certainty. Either something is switched somewhere, something is loose, something is crossed over, or whatever, but I'm almost POSITIVE it's a ground.

i had the same problem in my 95 civic hatchback cuz it was made in canada and was driven in canada basically
the canadian cars dont have that electronic load detector in their vehicles the device is located in the fuse box under the hood and has two wires that lead to the ecu the in which ur ecu is lookin for so now ur computer is running on limp mode u have to find the wiring diagram for ur civic and see if their is a ELD in 88-91 civic and possibly wire it up or just find a obd 0 ecu.
