Compression! Other Ways To Lower It.

Okay, other than low compression pistons and a stackable head gasket, what else can you do to lower your compression?

shorter rods. I think that just a thick head gasket will do the trick.

you won't want to lower compression more than pistons/HG will do most likely. If you get shorter rods, that can also have different affects on the physics of your combustion chamber.

I have 9.4:1 compression ratio. If I put on low compression pistons it will take me down to 9:1. How much will the head gasket take me down by?

I believe standard oversized goes down by .1 or .2
