compression?

I am probably going to be trading my 1995 Dodge Dakota Sport for a 1990 CRX Si but I have a question. I dont know much about these cars so I dont know what exact engine is in a 90 crx si. What should the compression be on a 1990 CRX Si 5 speed? thanks

hmmm. I dont know but I would first make sure the compression is that same on all cylinders.

crx si i believe has a D16A6 SOHC (single over-head cam)

Thats what engine I was thinking but I wanted to make sure. Hopefully all four cylinders read the same when I check the compression. thanks

I aint getting the crx. the car died while he was on his way to my house and it wouldnt start again.

offer him a cheaper price. those motors and the better once (D16z6;D16Y8) bolt right in there and are found at junkyards for cheap. they usually sell for $350 or cheaper.

can you take any pics? to me thats perfect thats the motor blows up. It saves you money and helps use it on a more worthy engine.
