nah first time i saw that movie me and my g/f at the time had dropped 6 hits of white blotters and smoked a eigth of chron to the head 2 hours before the movie....

1/8 betwixt two people?!?

weak :p

hell yea dont worry about that shit derek, it even says in that message to just disable sharing. i download to my hearts content. but i dont share shit. once it gets downloaded, it goes into another folder on my desktop entitled "music"(i only have like 40 songs anyway). fuck the riaa. i would laugh my ass off if they did have servers full of mp3's for people to download only to sue them for thousands for doing it. then they would fucking burn.

thats just a spam bot. ignore it. but you might want to stop sharing illegal files. I only share my legal stuff

What do you mean "legal stuff"? Sharing ANY music is illegal, unless you mean porn or something, then its ok.

untill the RIAA starts going after porn im safe :)

yeah but isn't there another group trying to stop child porn or something, and if you get some then they can send you off to "ram me in the ass prison" or is it only if you search for child porn? if so I have to quit looking at 6 year olds :puke: :puke2:

I believe...I dunno?

EDIT page 2 :cockblocked: :owned:

dude, dont even worry about that, it doesnt look authentic. if the RIAA had sent it, it would have all your IP and ISP info in the message saying it was recorded for whatever. i can send messages like that as long as i know someone IP address. its called NETsender. its really fun cause i freak my roommates out all the time with messages about kiddy porn and stuff like that.

when is the riaa supposedly moving forward with copyright infringement cases?

WHOOHOOOO So I can still download music and porn with out worry you guys think? SWEET DEAL....BTW, Does WinMX work better than kazza, or does it only let you download music...Kazzaa has pissed me off quite a few times Like I will be downloading windowsXP and when I open it up, I get a virus and snapen pussy tycoon...wtf? or no virus, just something that I don't want. :wtf:

not true.

you are allowed 1 "back up" rip of any CD that you own.

in addition, only RIAA artists material is illegal at this point in time. the RIAA consists of a bunch of labels.
http://www.affluxion.com/boycottlabels.shtml

if the artist you have a track of is NOT a part of the RIAA, there is NOTHING they can do about it, as they don't own a copyright on it either.

most trance labels, and underground stuff, or non-popular stuff is released on lesser named labels.

there's a bunch more.

how to beat the RIAA- stop listening to mainstream bullshit music put out by their labels.

Or you could do it the cheap way, find kids that have the cd you want, borrow it for 5 minutes and copy it.

that's true but you still aren't allowed to distribute it
you could make a hundred copies of cd's that you own, so long as you don't give them away

and in addition to B. statments

I own about 400-600 CD's that have not been purchased but traded.

There are hundred's even thouseands of bands that allow trading of thier music as long as neither party engaging in the trade makes a profit. again most of these bands are non-mainstream crap.

a good place to take a look for some really kick ass stuff is furthurnet.org and before you all think oh it's all hippie music, there's a shit load of bands that you can find thru furthur and it's the only 100% legal file sharing network our there.

Expand your music experience and give all music a try at least once. hell just download a few tracks and check em out if you don't like it you can always deleted it.

and B. said it best
"how to beat the RIAA- stop listening to mainstream bullshit music put out by their labels." :worthy: :worthy: :worthy:

Most of my favorite bands aren't on a major label or even had a label but distributed by themselves, wether it be trance, dub, jam bands, or country.

on WCCC the djs talked about over 100 law suits on people in the US sharing over 1000 songs. . . however the key word is sharing. as of now you can download all the stuff you want to. just move it to a none shared folder and you are safe.

one of the law suits was against a 12 y/o girl (calm down B ) who actually payed 29.95 for the kazza software with her own allowance money. poor girl is probably the most honest person in the world and she has to deal with this.

Fuck those pussys. I will never spend a fucking dime on any music from METALICA or any body else whining about copying music. What is funny is all this shit was going on 30 years ago when the cassette tape was introduced. All the music I like now was introduced to me on some kind of copy when I was a teenager. Then later I bought their albums when I could afford them. Fuck em all, I'll listen to the radio. :moon:
