So I got b18c1 block with a stock crank, and I just recently got some b18c pistons, rods, and flywheel. So I tried putting on the flywheel, and there was a bearing that was stopping it, so I hit it out and tried again, and this time it fitted on the first part of the crank, but theres a little grove on the crank making it bigger and it wont fit around this part, am I missing something or is there suppose to be a space between the flywheel and the engine block. Thanks.

the flywheel isnt supposed to sit flush wit the block or else it would rub, theres supposed to be a space, not a huge 1 but the flywheel should slide on easily where it stops is whea u bolt it up

Ok, well i kinda feel dumb fer askin this, but do you put something on the crank before the flywheel, I'm 60% postive you do but I dunno, this is my first motor build so yeah.
