I have a CRX 1.6
i want to put a 3" Muffler
But my friend told me that i may lose some power ,, is that true?

No its not true..........well depending on what system you go with.

3" is big wich should help with the flow and allow it to exit faster.

But if you get some headers too that'll help so much more.

Or you could build and put together a homemade turbo kit for the same price and make three times the power you can with headers and exhaust.

Well im always here to help.

Just get a good set of headers like DC or some sort of headers. And 3" piping all the way back with mandrel bends. And that should give you more pony's!!!

3in is way to big for a full system if u dont have a turbo but just a muffler should be fine

3in pipe all the way back from a header is to large for a car with out a turbo u should run 2 1/2 as for the muffler i thought he ment a 3" muffler just a muffler doesnt really hurt any thing

3in is pushing it just a little!

You could go 2in pipe with mandrel bends, header and a performance muffler and be perfectly fine.

i have 2 1/2 thermal exhaust on my car and i love it i would go no bigger than that till i turbo it and i have a 4-2-1 header too
