Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, aren't the obd0 pinouts slightly different between b and d series ecu's?

they prolly are so im goin to try and get a full DA harness and see if that works .........

im not sure at this point without me being there, sounds like there is some kind of wiring bug going on. best thing to do if it was me id take all the wires off and start fresh with a good write up.

Yep. Probably just a swapped pair or bad connection on one of the crank position sensors.
