How many bolts are attaching the tranny to the engine? I got 5 and it doesn't want to come off.

did you unbolt the rear tranny mount that is bolted to both the tranny and motor?

Yea I did. I'm thinking it's a bolt facing the other way from the rest.

get a manual for it at your local auto parts store like kragen, pepboys, autozone, etc.

did you remove the starter? one if it's bolts goes thru to the block.

get a screw driver in there and free the seal. they tend to want to stick together.
