ok... here goes..
i have a 91 CRX SI..
i would like to put the obd1 ex SOHC vtec engine and ecu in it..
i have heard two schools of thought on this. first:
put the motor in , using the ITM and distributor from the si, and rig up a vtec activation wire using an RPM module.

and second:
convert the car to obd1, and use all the sensors from the obd1 motor, using the p28 obd1 ecu. i would rather go with this method, so i can buy parts for i motor, not a combination of 2 or 3... also, i could then use other obd1 related performance parts, rather than obd0...
any suggestions?

the reason i am pursuing this route, is that i can probably turbo a d-series, for as much, or less as doing a full b-series swap...

Go obd1. You can get hondata or an uber chip for runing boost. Plus you will have the proper fuel curves for vtec. Switches are ghetto. I ran both methods on my civic.
