so january brings me (finaly) my not so massive swap. . .

I currently have a d14 but you know how they are. . . slow lol

so that coming out and im replacing it with a d16z6
just with basic bolt-ons and basic's for now intake, full exhaust system, light weight flywheel, stage 1 clutch

however im looking forward to saving up a little cash and the plan is to cam it and go for a bigger throttle body/intake manifold.

all going to be mapped. .

its going into an EK civic

just out of curiosity, has anyone on here done this swap before (silly question i imagine). . .what sort of problems will i come up against?

from what i can understand its a pretty stright forward swap??

cheers people

Are you in the US?

The mounts will probably line up pretty easily, but you'll have to deal with all the electronics. At the very least, you'll have to adapt the car to a VTEC system (not difficult, takes distributor and solenoid wiring), but depending on what OBD revision your car is compared to the engine (not sure about the EK outside the US), you might have to do more conversion stuff too.
