d15 question

whats redline on the d15 engine from japan? (not sure what whole engine code is) When is vtec engagment on this motor also?? They also claim 130hp in this engine, is that true or is it more like 115 or something. i know someone who has a eclipse (140hp) and he says he can take a sohc vtec motor, would that be a close race or would the eclipse smoke the sohc motor?? What do you guys think?? both stock and both 5spd. Thanks for your time. BG

the redline is diffrent depending on modle and vtec should cut on about 5600 rpm but most rev limiters are at 7500 rpm on the d15b some go to 8200
