Hi all. I am new to the Honda world and have a few questions for ya. I have a 92 civic DX hatch that I recently drove through a deep puddle and hydrolocked it, destroying my motor. My question is how hard or easy would it be to replace my engine with a D16Z6 from a 92-95 Si or EX. I don't have all the cash in the world, so I am looking to find what is the basics I need to complete the swap. I am guessing that I will at least need the ECU to make the Vtec work, but will everything else bolt right up?

Yes, everything bolts up. I think 92's already have the VTEC wire pre-installed(you'd have to check as I can't verify this), so yeah you'd just add the ECU.
